How long have you been at ProTec?

Since 2007 as staff and since 2009 as part owner.

What’s your favourite thing about working at ProTec?

The family feeling of the team. To be surrounded by people who live for this and not just do it for money

What is your most memorable moment in diving?

Coming out of Ryan’s chamber surveying behind Phillip going out into a black void of nothing later meeting him on his way out. He grabbed my helmet and shook it in disbelieve and screaming in his reg…amongst many other amazing moments.

What is your favourite dive in Mexico?

30m level in Regina.

What is your teaching philosophy?

Train hard and dive easy

Any advice for people wanting to come and train with us?

Get ready to have your mind blown. The detail in which we train and dissect every skill and procedure in each smallest component and the detail of our debriefings is second to none.

When not diving what do you do for fun?

Surfing, gym, techno.

If you weren’t a diver, what would your profession be?

Research physicist.

Where do you see yourself in 5 years time?

In the same place doing the same thing just more of it.

If you could have a superpower for one day, what would it be and why?

I have the superpower to breath underwater and explore unexplored parts of this planet every day so why settle for something less cool for just one day?
