ProTec Playa del Carmen
Since 2001, ProTec Playa del Carmen has been the birthplace of ProTec Dive Centers and home to thousands of cave and technical divers from around the world.
In 2026, following changes involving the building owner, we made the decision to consolidate all Playa operations into our existing Tulum facility. This transition allows us to continue providing the same world-class training, guiding, retail, and support services from one central location.
While our Playa center has become part of ProTec’s history, our mission remains unchanged: and we look forward to welcoming you to Tulum.

The ProTec Playa Dive Center is located in the center of Playa del Carmen on calle 4 close to the corner of Avenida 30 within Mom’s Hotel and opposite an OXXO convenience store.
