Jeb Adle
Jeb started diving at the age of 14 in the cold lakes of Nebraska. He was hooked right away, however living 1300 miles away from the ocean made it a challenge. A few years later in the Seychelles Islands he had the first opportunity to dive in the ocean. Those dives changed his outlook on diving to something he needed to have in his life. Soon after, Jeb was living in Okinawa Japan for a few years. This is where his passion for diving really started to take over. Taking every opportunity to travel and dive all over Southeast Asia.
After retiring from a previous career, Jeb decided to take a year off and travel the world before deciding what he was going to do next. He started the journey with a dive trip in the Philippines, and for the first time Jeb heard about cave diving from his DM. A few short weeks later he arrived in Playa Del Carmen for Sidemount and cave training. This only ignited the fire more. His yearlong travel plans ended quickly after discovering what cave diving was all about. He had to stay here longer, so many caves to dive. Jeb continued his dive education and became an Open Water Instructor. He began working for various dive shops in the area teaching Open Water courses and cavern guiding. Cave diving every chance he could, learning more caves and new lines. Jeb found a new home in Mexico, and living this close to so many beautiful caves made it impossible to move away.
After 2 years working as a freelance cave and cavern guide, Jeb decided to go back to the basics and take the ABC course at Protec to get polished up on techniques and break some bad habits. This is when he decided Protec was where he wanted to work someday. After doing some training with Protec (ABC, Cave stage, MOD 1 Sidewinder, Survey/exploration), and working as a freelance guide for a couple years, Jeb had the opportunity to join the Protec team full time.
Jeb loves to travel and dive CCR in caves or ocean wrecks anywhere he can.
His other passions are skydiving, and anything aviation related.
